Application of Hopcalite catalyst in rescue capsule and refuge chamber
How should Hopcalite catalysts be used in rescue capsules and refuge chambers? Minstrong Technology Co., Ltd., Hopcalite manufacturer gives you a brief introduction.
In the rescue cabin and refuge chamber, it is generally difficult to control the humidity below 45%. Therefore, if a Hopcalite catalyst is to be used, a desiccant is needed to be added to the inlet end of the catalyst agent, and the vaporized air is passed through a desiccant so that the water vapor therein is absorbed and filtered, and then the dry air is passed through the catalyst. So the CO gas therein is catalyzed to CO2.
In addition, in actual use, do not continuously use the Hopcalite catalyst, but after the CO concentration is reduced to the allowable range, the CO layer is removed to prevent the catalyst from being poisoned when excessive water vapor passes. The Hopcalite catalyst layer is placed on the air cleaner only when it is necessary to treat the harmful gases of CO. In a confined space, the use of an electrochemical CO sensor is easy to alarm, which does not indicate that the CO in the closed body exceeds the standard, which may be caused by a false alarm of the electrochemical sensor caused by the mixture of nitrogen and oxygen. The more accurate method is to use infrared CO sensor, the CO data obtained by this device is relatively accurate.
